Yup, damn painful. Especially when I stand in my rollerskates, I'm almost 1.75m, fall even harder.Originally posted by Glen999:move your body forward... if your gravity point is at the back, then you will fall and your butt will hit the floor hard !!!

u are travelling straight, then u just suddenly twist both skates sideways, making u skid to a stop.
its something like ice hockey... the recent jap drama Pride has some examples...
ya thats true.... its not kind on your skates...Originally posted by FireIce:u will wear out ur wheels and bearings very fast
Power slide and hockey brake are 2 different ways of braking. Power slide involve turning the direction you face and immediately jam the leg infront perpendicular to your movement direction. You will be sliding backward for a while with the other leg bend. Hockey brake is a sudden sharp turn causing both foot to point perpendicular to your direction of movement and thus stopping almost immediately.Originally posted by Oriental & Beautiful:yea... u can do power slides to brake, so dont need that rubber brake...
and always lean forward and bend ur knees... keep low at higher speeds..
falling forward is so much better than falling back... seriously...
at least u got padding...
fall on your butt can risk spinal fracture... im not joking...

T-brake is my most common brake since I took out the brake pad. Everytime my friend will goes "pick up all those wheel tracks, what a waste".
Actually can download a lot of clips from the net that show tips and techni. Search for inline blade tips.
