actually.. most ppl shud enlist in jan... if you are enlisting in dec... there could only be a few reasons..
1. You're obese.
2. You didn't get Silver for NAPFA.
3. You're PES C9/E9L9 coz' you have some medical problems. -
now most all recruits go tekong for thier bmt (formerly known as 2bts),
what happen to the 3bts and 7bts?

i don't see why NS is tough. actually, i'm looking forward to it. when do you get up close and personal with weapons/grenades if not NS?? of course, i wouldnt want to know how some of my schoolmates(i mean, the nerds) would handle NS. anyone who knows how their fellow nerd schoolmates' encounter with NS? NS is also a great time to buff up ur body. and.. i've yet to receive my enlistment letter. -
I had the same situations 3 yrs ago, me enlist in Jan though.
Oh well, Juz got to suck it up and go enlist. It is not that bad lah, juz need some time to get used to it. The tough part is only the initial few weeks.

They are lucky la, NS got cut down to 2 years nia. So even if enlist April, also ORD Feb, so still got time study for Uni. My year the suayst, only kana cut 2 mths, those poly ppl who enlist a few mths after them got the full 6 mths cut!
