DOOM - The Movie

Will people who play DOOM go watch this movie??
Don't know good or not, normally this kind of movie is just crap. -
Of course I will watch it, next week watching you know.
If Quake gets made into a movie, I will also go and watch it. -

Doom.. featuring the wrestler, The Rock..
who was from WWE.. as Rocky Maivia in the beginning...
started out being booed by the crowd coz he was pretty lousy...
joined a "faction" in the then-WWF called The Nation of Domination.. led by Farooq. and eventually took over the NoD
Farooq, whose real name is Ron Simmons, was a tag team partner of this dude called Butch Reed.. and together, they were known as.. DOOM -

Doom is classic game. First FPS

Doom II runs so smooth on 486 machine. It was wow experience with FPS. Unlike nowadays high end games rely on high end graphic card. I can hardly play those games now coz I have only normal integrated graphic card

I shall openly admit that I was (am?) a DOOM and DOOM II fanatic, and have spent many, many hours playing the game. The DOOM movie isn't exactly Masterpiece Theater--it's pure eye candy that will probably only be appreciated by die-hard DOOM aficionados and fanatics.
Apparently, there's a segment towards the end of the movie that's done in the classic FPS perspective. A friend who's also a DOOM fanatic suggested that we each sneak a keyboard and mouse into the cinema, and when the movie gets to the FPS segment, we break them out and make like we're playing DOOM on a huge screen, and have someone take a picture of us.

wrong... first ever FPS was Castle Wolfenstein 3D
we, at the uni hostel, beta-tested it, then were given the full game before the public..
then we played it to hell and back... completing all 6 episodes in Hard mode with the pistol -
DOOM II was there back in 1995 or 1996.
it was very tense. i can't remember i played it through from first level to the end how many times.
i like the very last one boss - huge cow head firing rockets. i like to attack it from its ass, then run away, detour to its back again, and attack with rocket launcher. -

Correct I was so mesmerized by the way you see what is in front of you and fire your weapons away. Furthermore it can run smoothly on a 486 not unlike nowadays games. After Doom came I lost all interest cuz I feel it has lost it's originality and it is much harder to complete unless play cheat (ok i no good I admit)
I still prefer Wolf 3D the first game of that genre -
The FPS mode in the movie was great fun hahahaha. Now await quake 4 the movie, to defeat it you have to be one of them.

Ima save money watch HPGOF at least 5 times, not too many or i might get sick of it before I get the DVD.
Maybe Get Rich or Die Tryin once, this movie DOOM, maybe... -
I think Resident Evil is still way better than Doom.
Without giving away too much spoilers, there is no kick ass monster villian in Doom.
