lol if i do that..there goes my grade for indust attachment..if staff do that..there goes their job...Originally posted by renorenal:That's sad.... noperz... it don't happen in the place I work and the place I studied last time... we dun even dare to think of it, ever heard of vengeance? If they stop supplying food in the pantry, and delay lab results, who will suffer leh?
I am nice to even the sweeper, can even remember her name... Some docs are real nice, but I do have to agree that some are quite bad...
sounds like S*F, males should find familiarOriginally posted by borntolive:Do higher rank staff , e.g docs ..respect lower rank staff serving or helping them? e.g nurses. attendants. lab technicians..
do share yr exp..
i am so pissed off with attitudes of higher rank staff
u see, i m under industrial attachment, n i m attached to a medical centre working in a lab where i have to run test n do filing for samples done by docs..
n just this moring one doc called the lab n i ans, the doc ask me qns n of course i tried my best to answer, then come to a point where he asks a qn that i cant ans...n just at the moment no one else was at the lab..so i told him to call back bit later or wait..n he said loudly ..something like this..DO U HAVE ANY OTHER METHOD TO DO THIS? WHERE R THE REST? WHY NO ONE OF U CARE....maybe i m too senstive or wad..but the tone hes saying it is implying hes not happy..wtf..at least talk to nicely ppl la..
n this is not the only case..when i mixed around with my colleages/ other lab technicians..i seldom see them mixing around with docs..in staff lounge u see 1 grp of docs n another grp of lab tech/nurses.. why cant docs mix with lab techs or nurses? of course not all docs r liidat..some r exception..but most r liddat..
n sometimes i see the way docs ask lab tech to get this job done is way too much..when not happy they raise their voice...
i even hearrd of lab tech complaining docs being too pampered with asking them to do everything m when something fail, they blame lab tech
i know of course they have expectations but at least respect lower rank staff la..if not working ennv how to be happy
This is like asking if lawyers give great blowjobs.Originally posted by borntolive:Do higher rank staff , e.g docs ..respect lower rank staff serving or helping them?
*raise hand and wave madly*Originally posted by Othello_Red:sounds pretty familiar...get that to a certain extent in the army...who's with me on that?
YeahOriginally posted by sohguanh:Such attitude is not only happening in medical line, it is everywhere in all industries. Ever wonder why we see so many drama serials ppl always fight for power and status in a company? Reason is simple. With power and status you can order ppl do work hahahaha.....
Get used to it and when you are working be prepared for that PLUS arrow politik all pointed at your back![]()
having power is one thing........Originally posted by sohguanh:With power and status you can order ppl do work hahahaha.....

having the ability to sustain your power/rank, whether people fu you or not...etc, are some other things people failed to consider.
Well that is happening to a lot of companies nowadays rite? Managerial position ppl are getting retrenched cuz they take too much money and contribute too little. Practical boss look at sales and cost statistics and wonder if he can get things done at even cheaper price rate.
Usually a manager need hands to work for them rite? So for a piece of work, it is manager $X + karkia $Y = $X + $Y where $Y < $X
If a karkia can do the piece of work solely on it's own it is only $Y
If a manager can do the piece of work solely on it's own it is only $X
But between $X and $Y of which $Y < $X it is obvious to choose who to stay assuming the piece of work can be done properly by both person. I think a major factor is how much it take for a piece of work to be done.
