IT support can be log problem nia or troubleshoot over fone or email or gotoassist this kind... -

just now i send my resume to IBM,
i put IT technician..
but i confused with IT support..
i hate talk to pusSy customer..
and i dont want go to customer place to do trouble shoot leh..
just stay in the office and do my duty there.. -

IT techician is more of on site based, u can be expected to go mobile, u go where the place needs u

If salary pay same for both go for IT technician cuz from my understanding those run outside post usually can eat snakes 1. Away also mean boss harder to monitor you and you set your own teabreak and who knows also get to use company transport after office hours for your own personal leisure.
I belif some1 in this forum is of this kind where car is company one so shiok -

No license then abit hard to run outside cuz it mean everytime u go out need a driver. To boss it is like pay 2 salaries to get an item done. However, maybe some work is meant to be done by 2 person so you will be needed. Run outside can see more things and learn to be more street smart instead of cooped up inside a cubicle in the cold and freezing office whole day long -

pao lai pao qu, face customers black face (cos their system cannot work) and most of the time is tupid user problem tt the user dun admit.....
and mus be prepared to do lotsa OT

I belif technician level can claim OT rite? Well it is not doing for free it is a paid job so look at the money can lar. Better than stay at home not a single cent come in -

But say it is IBM backend servers leh? U can't expect the user to plug out cable just like tat and then ship the server to IBM rite? -
