  If you are at a NATURAL beach not artificial ones like East Coast and if you dig the coast downwards will you see water?

  has to depend on the geological makeup of that area.. the entire beach might be founded on a rock strata system.. and the water you find may very well be a separate underground water system.. hard to say.. but quite unlikely cos by the time you reach the hard layer.. you can't really dig further.. unless you bring in some heavy machinery..
