I am going overseas studies and will like to know which of these 2 banks are better:
1) Commonwealth Bank of Australia
2) Australia and New Zealand Bank (ANZ) -

ANZ because the keycard(ATM card) looks chioer. If you are going to sign up for a new account as a student, don't expect any benefits or high interest. If you sign up like any normal customer, you lugi even more. Terminating an account with comm bank is a breeze, its like any mother son can just walk in and sign out with your money. I dunno about ANZ though, maybe you can try it and share your feedback. But one thing for sure I know my friends signed up with ANZ just coz their keycard looks chioer. ANZ's card is dark deep shiny blue, comm bank one is pale not so shiny like a cloudy day blue.

ANZ has 24/7 call centres...
Commonwealth charges for internet transactions above 3 a month if you are student.
Commonwealth has more atms and branches than ANZ. I personally hate commonwealth but I think they are more convenient.
