dono why nowadays my school email got some funny msgs not sent by me or someone i know but reach me.....some of email abit too much leh sexual experiences, viagra etc..
is it my comp got spyware.. or isit dono wad... -

IN my NTU acct, I always receive notifications that I've won lotteries or some lucky draws overseas or someone wants to transfer money from overseas t my bank account and I get to keep a lot of money. you should know what is cache rite? people keep tracks of what websites you go to, lock in on you, thru your history and sends solicated emails to you...
if you got those porn/viagra links, well, wee will know what sites you have visited... -

NTU webmail's system is'nt very secure in terms of spam. Receiving spam is quite normal. -

That's why i installed ms outlook on my laptop and let it check for emails. Spams get thrown into junk mail folder right away. If you use the outlook in school pc, it will not file junk mail into a junk folder for some unknown reason.
(If u want to know how to use MS outlook on your own pc to check for NTU mail, please PM me.) -

its hard to tell...maybe you didn check your hotmail using your sch comp, or maybe you check, but was cleared at the end of the day by the administrator..
it depends on the person or committe in charge of the IT.
If those mails bother you, you shld report them to the IT administrator. Ask them take necessary actions..( provided you didn surf illegal website lah!
