I dropped out of school after Pri 6, muck around until now I'm running my own business, and drive a van and a Jaguar.
I don't call myself a Winner, I don't think I'm a LOSER either.
I call myself DETERMINED to survive the best I can.
No more, no less.

So long as a person is alive and not dead, you have not lost anything, nor can you be labeled a LOSER. Because you still have the opportunity to keep trying.
Everything that we managed to achieve or possess, are all TEMPORARY.
We came with nothing, we sure as heck gonna leave with NOTHING!
Whoever you are, when you die, you're still ashes. Unless you turn into Gold Dust when cremated, will be regarded differently.
In everyone's life, there shall always be UPs, and Downs. If you are now UP, watch out, DOWN is next. If you are now DOWN, be cheerful, UP is coming next. Also, nothing lasts forever. If you can outlast the hard times, you will be assured better times.

My brother is the one who has the academic score all along, leads the team in sports, represented Singapore, plays music to perform, great relationship with long time girlfriend...looking forward to great job offers from MNCs
Me lousy school, lousy college, was wandering in and out of failed and unhappy rships, worried the hell out of my parents cos i am impulsive etc etc, yadda yadda...currently semi-employed, etc etc
But its okay. Sometimes life is not about what value is attached to items but what YOU value. Some may say this is the thinking of a loser -
low expectations..-
you dont have a good job so you value a 'meaningful job'
you don't have good academic results so bobian, you value your memories of time spent enjoying with friends in school (no wonder results not good),
you don't have money so you value a simple life
you under-achiever can't take family to great places so you value quality of time spent together
heehee... but you know, it really doesn't matter at all. Ultimately what everyone is looking for is happiness. And if you can find happiness in what you have, you've got it. Don't get misled by the means and lose sight of the end. -

Y care abt ur other siblings whether their achievements r better than u or not. Jus as long as u live e live u want, without compromising ur happiness and health, then heck care abt e rest.
my situation similar to u: but I dun giv a damn. I'm a diploma holder, & planning 2 drop e private degree course I am currently attending to pursue my dream of my life.
Currently, workin a P/T job to save a couple of thousands 4 my UK 2-yrs living xpenses. Once e amt is reached, wil fly to east london n work for a firm dere(job introduced to me by courtesy of 1 of my london mate)
And I wil hold a valid work permit that allows me to stay n work in UK with for a period of 2 years. renewable somemore!
Its all made possible by ur own endeavours made towards makin ur dreams into a reality. Over these yrs, I had made some nice foreigner mates, so no probs on travelling on my own anywer even though I a "she" (except africa, cos alot of rapist there!)..
Cant wait to club n join e rave parties dere..keke

Morale of my story is
Work towards making ur dreams a reality, watever is ur desired life-style.
By being able to live e kinda life i want, pursue my dreams n live in any country i wish to, I dun feel anyway inferior to my 3 other elder sisters whom r all degree holders (with 1st class honours somemore!), 2 married, all earning between $4K abv. Im 25 n they my sis 27, 28 and 32.
So???
AS LONG AS IM HAPPY..MY MUM STIL LOVES ME WIF WATEVER LUV she CAN GIV ME... N I ACHIEVE E ULTIMATE HAPPINESS I WANT..
No one is a loser...its a kinda demoralising term invented by some pple whose fav past-times are building negativity ard other pple, pulling others into their darkness of life..dun ever feel lousy or demotivated by these "black sheeps" of society..
