For my A Lvls I got rather normal grades only I guess...
A1 for General Paper, A for Economics, B for Physics and C for Maths

A lvls is only at jc and the dunno what institutes and is basically for uni entry
diploma is more for working after that although it can and is used alot for entry to unis also -

Polytechnic graduates don't need to take anything. They will graduate with a diploma. Polytechnic life in Singapore is very similar to university life. Tests, exams, projects....... -

There are engineering course in Malaysia where you do not need A Levels to get into, straight after O Levels, you enter their uni, and then you do the first few modules which are introductory or foundational course, something like that lor...
