Why?

1) Why did people like to say " Dun worry,dun be sad, it is not the end of the world yet"?
2) Why did people like to say OMG when they did not know who their God is (or unsure of)?
3) When I got new questions I post here....
(I hope I can listen to constructive views and not flaming posts.)

In the bible, whenever the biblical characters there have problems, they shout "O Lord". They know who to seek help to. But today, many people just shout "OMG OMG" so freely like as if they know who they are seeking help to; like they know who their master is.
