Sercurity Camera installed in homes

Now more people install sercurity camera in their homes to monitor their maid movements In case they wear their employer clothes, jewellery..... bring back their boyfriend
abuse their children and so on............ Do you all think this is a good idea???? Will it limit the maid freedom???? Sometimes also can monitor other than the maid like daugther.......
For me I think that it will limit their freedom but also help out too by being more obident????
What are your views???? -

It will help especially if there are elderly (or other accident-prone) people in the house. Perhaps any accident can be spotted immediately, even if there's no one at home. Without the camera, would have to wait for someone to come home before the person gets helped.
But i think other than that, not every home should have camera, it can be misused for snooping, etc.

Bathroom, toliets they should not install at there too because of personal privacy. But what if (touch wood) the maid sercertly went there to pour urine into the drinking water and nobody know it as there is no sercurity camera??? personally, i am against having domestic maids in singapore.
singaporeans cant have maids one. they'll tend to look down at these ppl easily and boast to the world that they're rich coz' they have a $300/mth maid. tsk.
anyway, these ppl who hire maids to look aft their children.. why aren't they looking after their children? what has happened to the term "parenthood"? yesteryear's parents are the ones who changed the smelly diapers, showered the toddlers, brought their children to kindergarten.. nowadays, it's the maids who bring their children to school.
some of my classmates have maids at home. and they're really a spoon-fed lot.
haizx.. wonder wad'll happen if one day, somehow, indonesia/philippines/sri lanka is richer than us and we have to work there as their domestic maids... -
