what kinda line u using for this then???
able to push up to 96kbps? those on itunes with 96kbps are good enough.
or can use other forms of compression. mp3pro??
u mean more users will multiply the bandwidth?!?Originally posted by BÃ¥seline:Thank you Thank you
Using Maxonline 2k but not good enuff to stream to 10 or more users. So, I work ard that by streaming at a lower bitrate. The tracks are mainly 128 and above but I set to a lower stream quality jus so the lag monster will not happen.![]()
Heh. It's alright.Originally posted by NuLife:u mean more users will multiply the bandwidth?!?
thats kinda weird.
pls pardon me. i never use mp3 broadcasting sw b4.
but there shoud be a way to broadcast like how they
did with those internet radio where it doesnt eat up the bandwidth.
Heard of RTCP protocol?? think theres a few more types....
jus some input for work..hee...
nvm if im wrong or if u r busy to chkout.
oh i meant multicasting...where it doesnt take up extra badwidth...Originally posted by BÃ¥seline:Heh. It's alright.
yeh, it does take away a bit of the bandwidth. To point that web pages load slower than usual.. in fact, eveything on the screen seemed a tad slower.
Those internet stations uses dedicated bandwidth thus expensive to maintain. For casual online streaming in our case.. we try to work around the slower bandwidth.
