China should learn from singapore which saw virtually no riots or demonstrations at all for this past decade.
If China which is supposedly a communist country with a greater control over its citizens, have such a large number of strikes, something is wrong. Look at singapore which is a democractic country giving large amount of freedom to her citizens, and yet singaporeans do not riot or strike. -
China is too big for the central government in Beijing to do anything effective. Besides, that is the price to pay for them opening up their economy. Western ideas, influences start to enter the country, and people start to question what they were taught from a young age. And when they realised they are taught the wrong things, they rebel.

Singaporeans so much to lose,who will dare riot or strike.
if come one day,singapore really degenerate until there is massive unemployment like above 20% and price rises until people cannoot have any decent living,you will see if these people will strike or not. -

In my opinion, China's people are a troublesome lot.
Dealing with them in business is real PAIN!
Which is why now, I don't do business with clients from China. -

What did china's people do to you? there are 1.3 billion of them, don't judge ALL of them.
More importantly chinese civilization 3000 years old, every one in world knows china, love chinese food, kung fu and cheap manufactures (unfortunate for the labourers) from China. It's also the fastest growing major economy in the world.
How long is singapore's history compared to china? ask how many people in the world even heard of singapore? not even 20% of them. And what impact does singapore have on the whole world? zilch.
Naturally people from less developed countries will take time to adjust to life in more developed places, doesn't mean you should stop interacting with them. And remember, singapore itself was not as developed only 3 decades ago. -

Some of their officals are corruptive and cheat the citizens money and the central government are not doing anything. So they were angry and went to protest. But not for Singapore thats why almost everybody keep quiet and listen

The riot team (Alpha) by itself which could has a standard orbat of 40 personnels on it but the number of riot teams (A,B,C... ) there are is unknown.
So on receiving news on riots/protest, the entire Alpha team move out as one.
