Bishan is pronounced Pek San in dialect. The biggest cemetery there then was called Pek San Theng. (Bi4 Shan1 Ting2?)

Yup. Dhoby Gaut used to be cemetery.
It only carries an India name.
But the cemetery there is Jewish. Or at least part of it.
Peck San Teng cemetery, although gone, but the temple of the same name is still around, behind RI.
Dates back from the kampong and cemetery times. -

Bishan is la... Been told my school's on top of a huge mound of graveyard grounds since i went there... Still remember all the creepy stuff going on during our camp on the grounds... No thanks to the dumb clock tower bell suddenly going off that night >.<
