Going Northern Thailand (mountains) on missionary mission to an abandoned tribe there with my church.
They're the remnants of the Kuo Min Tang army as they withdrew towards Taiwan during the failed coup. Sadly no one claimed them back. To this date their still considered nan ming in Thailand with no nationality, no passport, no future. Can't afford proper schooling, no jobs to get because of status. The girls only look forward to becoming prostitutes when they grow up to earn money for their family. In fact the family is very happy when one of the girls become successful prostitutes. Its a sad truth for these people with no future.
We're going there to give them hope for a future. Also looking into the possibility of establishing a business there with the sole aim of employing these people. However, its an uphill task cos prostitution and pimping is a much easier and better paid job than honest work.
Keep the Arkah people in prayers
