It is evidential, and outrightly apparent, that good looking people are noticed first. Whether they are immedicately well treated or not, is very subjective.
In some companies, young pretty girls are frowned at and scorned by existing less attractive females, much to their fear that they be outclassed, and outshoned by a pretty young new-comer. This is fact.
As for guys, as I run my own business, I'd want to see performance first - not looks. Because I'm not running some talent show or Singapore Idols. You can look a million dollars, but if you can't work, get out of my sight!
I think generally, people are waking up to the notion that if you judge a person by his or her looks, you might as well be buying 4D!!!
Everyone, regardless of looks, have flaws and weaknesses.

My colleagues and I just had a somewhat similar discussion just recently. One of them said, ''It is definitely true that the beautiful folks get more attention, more leeway when they make mistakes, and get treated better, in other words, they might end up having an 'easier' life. That is something nobody can change. What we can change, is our attitude towards it - we just have to accept that we're not part of the 'beautiful folks' parade, and do the best we can with our lot in life. Or else, what else is there to do about it?''

heehee of course. It's a fact you got to face up to when you dont belong to the Other Side.
Remember when I was in Sec sch... the guys would carry heavy stuff for the girls up the stairs (and leave me struggling)
In college when we had a school trip, the 'helpless' girls who brought massive luggages had theirs hauled up 3 floors too... (guess where I was...)
A friend of mine had an experience where during a trip together, this guy friend offered his jacket to her pretty girl friend. the girl rejected. My friend was very cold too, but this guy looked at her and said point blank ' I think you not cold lah." and kept the jacket to himself.
But its so much human nature you can't really blame anyone for it. I remember once I was berating this guyfriend for being late for a meeting when suddenly he took off his specs to clean it and I stopped in mid-sentence cos I SUDDENLY realised how good looking he was and started gawping instead. I ended off with a lame "dont do it again"
hahahah.. so its human nature la!

Well, I know of two guys with such long, giraffe-like eyelashes that everytime I talked to them, I'd be sooooooo drawn to their eyes! 
Once when I was talking to one of them, I started to daydream, gazing deeply into his eyes. Didn't realise he had already ended his sentence and he had even asked me a question! I only snapped out of it when he looked at me quizically!
