don't be kiasu at Cafe Cartel

My gf and i went to Cafe Cartel (singlap) at 10:45am Thursday.
There were a family of four at Cafe Cartel. (parents, a tall young guy(20+), and a tall young lady(20+)).
The young lady was hogging for 20 minutes at the ordering station at Cafe Cartel. Guess what, she was looking at the menu and deciding what to order. She just ignored the long queue at the ordering station.
I was in the queue of the bread station. The mom and the young guy were cutting for 3 full plates of bread.
Nothing much left in the bread station after their turn although there were 3-4 guys still in the queue.
If you are one of them, please tell your family not to do such a selfish act and be more considerate.
Singapore don't need this kind of kiasu people! -

i tot u wana say kiasu as in buy a few cakes after 9pm..
i always go there for cakes after 9pm with my frens... coz 50% off and their cakes really yummy. -

But kiasuism is already such a entrenched traits of most singaporeans that it is difficult to get them to change.
It is the partial side result of meritocracy,being having to be the best to go up in life, people will always be kiasu so that they think they do not lag behind. -

pardon me but this kind of incident you also come here and kpkb.... seems like you are not much better than her.
i think you could be more gracious about and LET IT GO!!!! It's such an insignificant incident... she's probably just insensitive, if u go up and tell her nicely if she could speed up, im sure she would be embarrassed and order up. -

knowing it is a buffet mahz, OF COURSE PEOPLE WILL TAKE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE mahz!!!!
use your brains loh, you pay $20+++ for buffet and you only take a small piece of pathetic lettuce???!! -
