  yeah.. when your host sees you as a non-muslim, you may expect to be given concessions like not following their customs and practises too srictly, like greeting them in their way, and eating with hands etc.
  
  but its a BIG bonus if you can do what they do themselves, but this cant be achieved overnight for an individual!
  
  and, i thought eating with hands is for Indians? anyway, eating hands, i found out, taste slightly nicer.. due to the smell on your hands makes the food appetising.. Eat with metal spoons makes you feel scared that you may bite on the hard spoon rite?

  okay, let me enlighten you guys...
  
  eating with hands has been found to have this enzyme/micro-organism which helps to break down the food a little. so when u eat it, it "somehow" makes it tastier/shiok/feeling.
  
  "sertu" - use dirt frm ur potted plant.. or just dirt frm the ground.. dirt frm our mother earthh!
  
  dont try to be funny ah offer bak kwa. wah lao eh.
  
  if i were to be a host to my non-muslim friends, i would give them fork and spoon lah.. eating with hands cant master so fast one. even i dono how to use chopstick.

  haha.. and yes, malay food is a tad too unhealthy lah.. with all the rendang, sambal goreng, lontong...
  
  even as the health promotion board tell us all to substitute coconut milk with low-fat milk(which my mom thinks is crazy/stupid), we still do use coconut milk.. haha.. use low-fat milk, taste very different.. how shud i say.. the taste not that "rich" la..

  actually to hell to the low fast bullsh!t and stuff promotion....just care abt the weight increament when u eat fatty food...but u can still stay in the normal zone instead of the overweight zone by eating lots of meats and milk which supply protein and make u taller.....

  but Malaysia one will be different, more community like, where everyone in that kampung or housing estate eat at one place under tentage if they can afford it...chinese indians malay all who know each other come together..

  yup, sometimes i wish i can celebrate hari raya there.. it's totally different one.. not like now in HDB flats, no place to make ketupat on a large scale.. now ketupat is buy one.. or instant ketupat(yeah, got sell in supermarket one).

  ate before the kueh from pahang and trenganu. they're very generous with the coconut products and gula. and the texture very soft and refined and. s'pore kueh can't compare at all
