  you just have to convert the left side to t^(something)
  
  so t x t^3 = t^4
  
  and when you divide... you just subtract the power...
  
  so its... t^4 / t^1/2 = t^3 1/2
  
  so n = 3 1/2 or 3.5... whichever format you want to put... but my teacher say leave it as mixed number or improper fraction is better... but if you love decimals...

  the squareroot of t when you bring over put it as t^1/2..den become simple liao..
  
  for algebra, multiplication means addition of the power terms,division means subtraction of the power terms
  
  so its t^4 - t^1/2 = t^n
