wat is the GPA in poly needed to enter a local uni??

  i am in first year and scored really liked ****, so hoping i can do well for the other 4 semester and hope to pull up the GPA...

  but nowadays i think the rules have relax alot so u can just go to the website and check out their requirement....

  Nowadays, at least for my Polytechnic, they increased the number of people that gets listed in the Director's Board to Top 10 %.
  
  Sadly, I am 0.25 away from the current Top 10 %. My G.P.A is only 3.280, looks like I have to work even harder this semester, I hope to get into NUS / NTU Computing Course.
  
  Here's something to inspire you,
  
  There's a NUS girl working part-time under my mother. She got in NUS Computing Course with a G.P.A of only 2.9.
  
  However, other factors like C.C.A points and O' Levels aggregrate contribute too. But, I am still too lazy to get a C.C.A.

  Increase by twice? Sure or not? Don't think so. I once calculated, but it never reached 10%, although the number increased.

  No need me to count... the Coordinator flashed it on the screen, Top 10 %... for 2 semesters already...
  
  Actually its not a lot... Top 10 % is like 30 students only...

  nowadays in poly nth is certain liao la.
  in NP..
  minimum criterial: GPA3.5++, no CCA
  GPA3.0++,with normal participation of CCA
  GPA2.75++,with regular participation of CCA
  
  p.s.: of cos cannt get too much warning letters regarding misconduct..

  Assuming:
  
  GPA--> Score
  4--> 80%-100%
  3--> 60%-79%
  2--> 47%-59%
  1--> < 46%
  
  You take 4 modules and score 3, 4, 3, and 2 respectively. You get a total of GPA 12 points.
  
  Your average GPA for the 4 modules is 12/4 = 3 points.

  my GPA for yr 1 sem 1 is 3.8
  
  gradually, when i grad from TP, heehee....guess wat? 2.4
