Surge Protector

  Hi,
  
  I just bought a surge protector for my laptop. However, I discover that the Surge light (red light) should not be on. If it is on, it means that there is surge. What should I do now?

  Managed to contact the manufacturer and found out that the protector is defective. Have arranged for exchange.
