DesignEDGE Conference and Expo, presented by the DesignSingapore Council and produced by IdN, will be one of the undoubted highlights of 2005.
Essentially a creative conference and exhibition; both tracks will merge and combine into a fusion of programmes and performances, featuring some of the world’s most influential yet mild-mannered revolutionaries. It will be the perfect antidote to the commercial straitjacket into which many talented designers feel they have been forced these days — an opportunity to give full vent to their unfettered creativity.
DesignEDGE will reveal how this revolution came about: our presenters will demonstrate precisely what it was that drove them to overturn the prevailing “rules of the game”. And how they arrived at the inspiration to see things from a whole new perspective.
Above all, DesignEDGE Conference and Expo is an expression of the creative spirit of our times. It is unlikely that there will ever again be gathered together in one place such a stellar collection of creative iconoclasts! -

How are you connected with this? When saying "Design" who would be interested, I mean does design mean:
Fashion Design
Interior Design
Architectural Design
CAD
Game Design / Level Design
Web Design
Graphic Design
etc...
Just curious, because I may be interested in a couple of those areas, but not others. Also curious about costs involved

Not a lot of things to do actually, and hardly anything you can get inside is free. There were the playmotion games (like human air hockey), showcases of toys (Stikfas is just one), you can watch demonstrations of T-shirt printing and lmac designing, and some presentations and shows on stage too.
