To repeat, I am not against Xiaxue in person but I dislike people like her in general. People who shoot their mouth off without thinking. Like people who label others stupid unnecessarily. when i say xiaxue is a girl, i'm not speaking up for her. i'm speaking up for all girls. vulgar or not, a girl is still a girl. we are still the more emotional and sensitive sex. even though in your eyes, she doesn't seem to be those kinds of girls who would cry when ppl scold her mean things, i believe she DO get affected and will feel hurt or sad. so yes, i'm giving you what you advice others: THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK. as in, if you don't like her, you don't have to go to her blog and say mean things. just don't read anymore. now, i'm not saying that you are one of those stupid and mean ppl who say mean things to her, so don't get all fired up if you are not such ppl.

Why does people keep assuming that we actually goes to her blog, get angry and say she sucks. People don't need to go to her blog to realise what kind of 'girl' she is. I think this is misplaced feminism at work here. What's with the gender discrimination? Guys too will get affected and will feel hurt or sad when mean things are said to them. Personally, I think you've insulted all ladies by saying something like that. I would appreciate it better if you spoke up for a lady or ladies more respectable than that. But then again, that's my opnion of course.

If she puts her blog online, there are bound to be ppl who go and read it. And she is such a "(in)famous" blogger now, so all the more ppl will flock to her side. If she doesn't want ppl to read her blog, she shouldn't attract so much attention to herself in the first place. But you do know she wants to attract attention to herself because that's the only way she can earn thru her blog (who wants to put advertisement on a blog which is read by nobody?), and she choose to attract it the wrong way.
So I can't really say I pity her. She might be just a girl, but there is no reason to spare her from the agony from reading all those bad comments becos that's the way the commenter felt when she started calling ppl names in her blog. -

She removed her blog because she was creating a huge contraversy over her plastic surgery. While she insist that people who say that she did plastic surgery are jealous and out to defame her and that she despise people "who are not confident about themselves and needs cosmetic surgery" (in the papers), various sources has been able to produce pictures of her before and after proof.
She got flame over the issue and nasty hate mails to her blog.. finally she decided to give up and close the blog. Then she returned again... haa.. -

however on the other hand, being famous for the right reason is to blog with purpose.. and a correct purpose. one must have an objective of how he/she wants to influence others in a positive way.
firstly, by writing positive things and be a positive influence to others thru his/her writing. that's one way of attracting more readers and not only that, the positive things one says in their blog, can change a person's life.
so by being the positive impact here, one can remain famous and continue to be successful all the way.
XX just dun understand what it means to be successful. imo, she's abusing her success in a certain extend. people who are successful shouldn't be complacent. they should in fact continue to keep it that way. after all, success is not a destination. it is a journey and a growing process. if one just stops there, that person is no longer successful. hence, the reason why so many successful people fail is because they stopped and think they've arrived.
or worse, misusing their success and become a negative influence. -

hmm...but blogging about positive things all day is really boring to read, i think... you can find positive writing in self-help books.
aiya. anyways, xiaxue's writing style has changed as time passed. now her blog is almost ads, ads, ads and it's not really funny anymore. used to be really addicted to her blog in the past. but now she spends a lot of time defending herself and writing about ppl who dislike her...it's really boring.
however, i feel that there is a reason why her writing style changed. it's because of her sudden shoot to fame and the increase in more ppl knowing her blog and reading it. narrow-minded ppl are aplenty in singapore and they get offended by the tiniest of matters, and so she found that many ppl hate her views and everything, explaining why she tries to sound smart in her blog now, talking about important issues in perfect english. it's really a bore!
also, she used to share many things about her private life, but i think now she keeps many stuffs to herself. and only writes about parties and stuffs. really boring!!! haiz!
really miss her old stuffs where what she writes can be a discussion topic among friends. -
