  For data entry, you don't have to know the formulas in excel, because when you opened the file to key in, the format is there already (for my case), if this is so you don't have to modify or add in the formulas.

  whoa, the data entry job really torturing. stare at PC nine hours until i see lines and those "ghost lines"(caused by PC screen) even when i knock off work.
  may have to quit soon, very bad for eyes. somemore i cannot watch TV anymore.........my eyes really painful.

  You have programming background, funny you should ask this sort of question.
  Did it not occur to you to use the Help tab in the tool bar?
  There are some basic formula tips there.
  Don't keep your programming skills in the background, bring it up front!

  aiyah...i think the best is you go to library borrow an excel book, then next time your boss give you hard assignments like want some complicated formula to get some results etc, you can at least check back on the book mah...cuz sometimes even the help inside excel is not enough.
