  i almost was in the same condition as you...i had sorethroat and runny nose...went to the chinese medical hall and bought "hou tong pian" or literally, sore throat tablets, took it and the sore throat's cured...but my nose still blocked and runny...so i took panadol flu tablets before i went to bed and woke up feeling so much better...
