hai care to share the lowest point of your life?...for me i tink it gotta be now...the prospect of doing badly in As and the near enlistment date for NS...makes me wonder what am i gonna do when i complete my NS..feeling kinda lost now without any motivation in life....

i had A1 for chinese and 6 F9s for my 'o' level preliminary 20 odd yrs ago. i thought that was the lowest point of my life. 20 odd yrs later today it seemed so trivial.

you don't need to be smart.
just either be a mugger or study smart ie observe trends and take calculated risks.
remember to get lecture notes from juniors.

Hmm. Lowest point was when I did not do as well as I expected for my As. Was awfully depressed, stayed at home, ignored everybody. A few days into my self-inflicted banishment, I began rummagging through my drawers, and I found my report book from secondary school and I begun reading through all the transcripts from sec 1 to sec 5. I realized that while I screwed up for most of the exams, I did well for some of them. While some teachers really hated me, some others did like me with their comments. I guess that then I figured out that the A's were just a passing phase, in which I fared badly, but someday, somehow, somewhere, I'll do well in something. That is enough of a consolation for me. -
study smartly i tink seriously can only apply to Os when the trends r kinda obvious...n tts wad i used to do for Os...now As is totally different..spotting qns will only lead u to miss out studying alot of stuff..yup n i m just not born to mug..i guess jc does not realli suit me afterall...
