  I don't think a fishball stall need a PC technician drawing 1k a month just to maintain one or two PCs. They can always out source to small IT firm and charge by per visit. Only come when there is a problem.

  my friend graduated from US. onlyl draw around 1k SGD as well.
  
  he said that no choice.. have to do work to earn money...
  he can survive with around 800SGD / month.. (after CpF deduction)...
  
  he just doesn't change handphone once every few months..
  take bus.... no movies.
  his gf understands. and sometimes, they go to library reading books instead of spending money in shopping malls. guess that it's a good spirit.
  
  he said that after a few more years, those newly graduate will have harder time as uni grad is a must-have and everyone has one.
  
  anyway, i'm a contractor as well. luckily, my contract will extend to the end of next year although my big boss has not signed the contract yet. But expected to sign in next few days. (keep my fingers crossed!)
