Buangkok station to open in January 2006

  TRANSPORT Minister Yeo Cheow Tong on Friday confirmed that Buangkok station will open in January next year, before Chinese New Year.
  
  He said that opening the station did not make business sense and it would not be commercially viable until 2008 or so.
  
  Mr Yeo said that SBS Transit will do so, after the repeated appeals by residents and grassroots leaders.
  
  It was not a Government decision and the timing was coincidental.

  Somehow I'm finding it a little difficult to swallow those words in bold.
