Study Tips For History Paper? What are you guys studying?

  how about we list out all the chapters that we are studying bcoz different schs have different kind of method to spot questions. Pls help...

  ahh hate history..took pure geog n combined his..i think history must learn China..cause its quite isolated from the other topics and most likely 1 of the qn with be on China

  i heard china is important as Mao Ze Dong hasnt come out for 3 yrs and cambridge loves to ask about chapter 2, but russia has a high probability to come out also. War in europe as well, i need some advise on wat to study as my ss did quite well

  Swallow the entire book.
  
  When I think of my O Level History, I'm amazed at my ability to really memorise the whole book. I wasn't surprised when I got an A1.
  
  Now, my brain cannot even store 10% of what I memorised then.

  Best if come up with this kind of very general,broad-based question,spot also no use because you need to understand everything to answer these questions well.These kind of questions also really make you think of how to answer them rather than vomitting memorised essay answers.

  "How did the economic downturns of the interwar period shape the fortunes of the totalitarian states you studied in the course."(25 marks)
  
  Now would anyone like to do an essay outline on Q.3? (The most challenging of all-you need to write not just about Germany,but also Japan,Italy and USSR and then find common threads among them)

  -China chapter 9
  -World War II chapter 5
  -World War II (pacific) chapter 6
