English-oriented audience?
With the newest talent programs like Star Idol, Superhost, and that Superstar thing... all of it revolves around Mandarin.
You may think, we suck so much at English... it's just going to be a disgrace. But just because we suck... doesn't mean we should not do it. Instead, we should take the chance to improve on the language... and being a multi-racial country... we should focus more on a common language instead.
What do you think?
(Of course, for it to turn out well... the audience shouldn't diss people who can speak a certain standard of English.) -

Like I mentioned, we need more English-proficient actors/writers. We also need more English hosts... Which is why I'm against the Mandarin requirements by the newest talent shows. We already have enough of those Mandarin hosts/actors.
PS: I've never gone against people with accent... cause I have a very unique accent too. -
