Reminds me... Juts yestreday I was trying to remove some things from the trunk of a taxi when we arrived at our destination... As I was removing the LAST of the items, the taxi SUDDENLY DROVE OFF with the TRUNK and WIDE OPEN!! (CAN'T HE SIMPLY SEE FROM THE REAR MIRROR..??) It ALMOST TORN the ITEM APART but instead just for its plastic bag... I was lucky to have that heavy item halfway out of the trunk when that happened... If I was to be at the position where I was bending in to hold the item, I figured I could have been EASILY DRAGGED ACROSS the ROAD...
BUT THAT'S NOT THE END!! I PLACED the ITEM on the FLOOR and HAILED the TAXI when the driver turned around to look... I then walked towards the CAB by the side so that the driver CAN SEE ME, in an attempt to close the hood. The STUPID DRIVER SUDDENLY REVERSED ON ME WHEN I WAS NEAR THE CAB!!!

i think those ppl really loh! never tot of their safety one, duno want to rush into the train for wat, rushing for reborn is it.. kaoz..
Everytime the door is closing then i saw ppl squeeze inside, so scary sial... then whenever i was waiting for train, (my workplace at raffles) then many ppl mah, so i wait at the platform to let those ppl to get out fers, then ppl behind me will start pushing me to the front, and i got to hold myself outside the door to prevent ppl to chiong inside before the ppl get out.. total chaos sial!
Imagine working in Raffles, should be very civilize but they machiam babarian lidat, squeezing and pushing and all.. geez!! luckily I dun have to take public transport anymore.. dUhz!
Then once a person wanted to come out of the train, and those ppl started to chiong in, finally he manage to get out of the train but.. the door closed and his haversack was stucked at the door!geez!! that was close man! luckily some ppl help him to pull and push his bag out of the door.. see lah see lah! this is how rude those ppl are... squeezing and all..
The korean Lady is damn lucky loh..imagine if her baby still stuck in the trolley.. can't imagine wat will happen..... -

dun think it will happen in Singapore..the train will not move when the door is not close..anything tat is stuck in between the door..it will auto open itself..
but still we cant trust technology always...wait for the next ride..there is always a next ride.. -

basically the doors are suppose to open back when they hit something. how true this is i don't know. i never trusted the stupid thing when the door didnt stop during the new years eve of year 2000, when the whole orchard mrt was packed.
although once i saw this sch girl, rushing for the train, then she couldn't make it so while the doors were closing, she stuck her hands in between the door and they opened again, then she went in.
you notice how when the mrt door closes, it stops at a certain point first for about a second or two, then it fully closes? i think it is during that point, that if the door cannot close properly, the doors will open back. if you stick your finger in between i dont know whats gonna happen...lol. good luck to whoever tries that.
but the mechanism was flawed definately, since the doors didnt stop after it bumped into the stroller. thats why i never trusted the damn thing....lol
they should have a second safety system or whatever, in case the first one screwed up. like the freaking mrt shouldnt even move if the doors arnt closed properly. -
I already gives out a 'hint', if you really want to try put your hands/fingers to stop the doors from closing.........
.........make sure they r thick enough.

Lucky the train managed to stop quickly, but the mother still got dragged for some distance.
Something similar might just happen in Singapore if you are not careful.
