  i mean for eg. a $2 note.... like now its in ur wallet, n den u use it to pay 4 a drink in the canteen. den its in the drink stall owners money container. den l8r its given to another student as change. den he keeps it in his wallet. den maybe when sku ends, he use it to buy newspaper at the newstand. then l8r on that note is given to a man as change. den maybe l8r on he use it to pay for his lunch at the hawker centre.... etc etc.....

  n do u think that, like eg. u have a $2 note in ur wallet, with serial no. 356890.... n den u spent it... n then the note juz circulates n circulates n changes hand several times. then maybe 5 months l8r, the same banknote happened to be givened back to u (as change perhaps) (but of course u don realize it)

  might happen..? there is a control to certain extent on how much currency is out there.. so its not infinite, which means, it will jolly well come back to yr own hand.. just a matter of how long.
