People in Chinese Cemetery near midnite last sat

Last sat my uncle and me plus most of my cousin decided to explore the old chua chu kang area and we went inside and explored the chinese cemetery...then there was one area where i could see light source(which i guess were candles) and some lorry and vans...what were they doing so late in the night?And whats more there's no streat lamps inside..

cannot be any death processes. coz all held in the day. either candles use light to pray for 4d or people kena disturb by "them" then hire those holy people to come to do holy stuff
