  Sharing of music, videos and any copyright materials are illegal. But if you share your own project work, not illegal.

  Let me use this as an example, if I were to share my car with my friend, it's not illegal.So since I have given my friend a copy of a song, at the moment of transfer, I have transferred away my single legitimate copy allowed to me under the law.What the hell is wrong with that?Given that the onus is on them to prove that I have more than one copy of that song at the time of transfer.

  sounds ok...but I understand that in singapore...the onus is on the accused to prove innocence.

  Okay.Look at it this way,all they have is your transcript and logs, and that merely shows you transmitted this data packet.Does it show exactly the byte makeup of the packet and even if they reassemble the data packet, you are only shown to have transferred this packet.
  
  Where is their proof that you have more?Is it a crime, in situ, to send data?It's all a technicality if we look at it.
