In Japan, ate a Kobe Beef Steak which cost about S$100 (a piece - average size).. the price is just for the beef.. not cooked. Cook still additional cost.

Most expensive is a christmas dinner...cost me abt $148....i heard from my fren that he and gf went japan and ate some beef thingy....$500!! that is the most ridiculous amount for a piece of beef.... -

To me any meal that is > $20 is considered expensive. To some ppl after working feel $20 is nothing should reward more and spend more but I dun subscribe to that mindset.
Imagine I got retrenched the next month. If throughout the employed days I did not save enuff money how will survive those job hunting months after getting retrenched?
Money is meant to be spent is correct but spent at the correct moment. Frivolous spending is out IMHO
