  What is more important is the fact that whether such characteristics has tainted their personality or not... if they aren't then you should be alright... if they do, better prepare for a rough ride...

  How abt rephrasing the question. Would you accept yr steady of a different religion? Can you imagine a C and a M religion follower in unison marriage? I doubt it will work out and maybe disallowed by the country gahmen also
