we saw sudden rise in horror movies after the RING.
Holywood also got on this craze with the 6th sense -
Lord of the Rings and Phantom Menace vehicle chase scenes.

Sports speaking for a soccer match to use the word whip or thrash it usually refer to 3 - 0 score lines or any team that manage to score goal difference of 3 against the opponent.
So correct speaking, 2-0 is not considered whip. Maybe just a normal win instead
Btw, 2002 germany squad is a very lucky and not so talented team. See them change in 2006 with new young faces. -
