preferred by host nation?...... socially of course, politically won't admit.
but
culture is an evolving thing so no absolute "culturally similar countries" exists.
thus concept of "culture- fit" can only applies in loose and not absolute term. -
basically it's pretty hard to find a culture similar country as the race or people may be influenced by the culture in that particular country take singapore for example

Like Spain/Portugal and some South American nations have similar cultures as they were their colonies.
The Chinese-majority places like China, Taiwan, Singapore, HK, Macau. If we move there, we'll feel slightly more 'home' the other places. -
