10% of Police Force Courrupted

I just finished reading the Xin Min Newspaper and was shock that the case on the China woman being stripped naked and went to identify the policeman and policewoman who shamed them.
What I am surprise is that the office from the PM office actually say that there are only a small 10% of the police courrupted. But what is 10% of the entire malaysian police forece....make me start to wonder.... -

Actually I never like policemen much esp the type you find in Philippine, central America and Europe. Heavy, big pregnant belly and walk with a swagger some more.
You wonder how they going to run after thief and robber. And you really wonder how they can eat so much with their meagre salaries..... bribing perhaps? -

There were incidents of weapons stolen in broad daylight from their Army armoury as well. -
someone even suggested to their govt that they be tough to us and thailand for taking advantage of their friendliness.

Well it happen in msia a while back. A former policeman become a robber and when former colleague spotted him on his jewellery heist, he shot his colleague dead. There you have it, former policeman turn robber.
If you referring to present policeman turn robber not really but more of backend job like give tips on impending police raid or operation. It is common in all countries. Spore not spared either cuz recent news charge a spore policeman on such charge.
