I think Creative is stupid. As in the Creative behind Soundblaster. The way it tried to compete with Apple ipod, looks like a total loser from the start. Are we going to watch our Singapore famous global company bleed itself to death?

well creative really sucked in this battle with Apple..... it's a lose out for creative be it the design of product or the quality of product.... creative just sucked in this MP3 player war.... looks like we will see creative bleed itself to death

Sorry, I don't know about how many times this kind of thread was mentioned. I wasn't here long enough.
I felt like saying so because I think our Creative is too arrogant and because it's a Singapore's company. Sometimes, I just like to mock about it to Singaporeans rather than hearing foreigners talking bad about Singapore companies. -
i dont understand creative loan 200 odd million from 8 banks and none of which is our own. local banks dont even work with local businesses.

honestly, i think apple's sound quality sucks. the only reason why it sells better is mostly because of its name, its pretty lil shape...and its random function actually works instead of the crappy loop you get from creative mp3 players.
if creative had prettier slimmer mp3s with an actual working random function, i'm pretty sure they're business would rise. -

are you sure? i'll agree wif that statment if yr talking abt those before and during the iPod colourless era. U may wan to noe tat iPod Shuffle's sound quality is better than Creative players.
one thing i lyk abt Apple is that they actually provide useful firmware updates lyk increasing battery life and adding functionality through their website. Not sure abt Creative though. but from the looks of it Creative are just bent on producing players of different models but their functions r the same. At least Apple moved from colourless, to photo, to videos and stuff. Theres oso tons of accessories for iPod (although they are ex) -

And yes, Apple is indeed winning the war, and perhaps becoming more dominant even, by constantly adding new functionality into its iPods. Looks like in terms of design, functionality and quality, Creative is losing on all fronts. -
