How you ppl find this year's papers in general? Is it much tougher than the previous years?
Especially Maths C paper 1, it was just hell. I estimate I got 70 marks for P1 and 80 marks for Paper 2. Can you pls help me do a simple survey on how you fared? Tell me your JC(BTW, I from HCI), and your predicted marks for both papers since grades less reliable. This is because I really worry about not being able to get A for Maths C. So if I can get a sample mean
for the national average performance(which may not be too accurate), I can test at the 5% significance level 
, whether I had underestimated or overestimated my performance. (Then see whether must reject Ho )
Secondly, for those Econs students, paper 3 was rather imbalanced and over-emphasised on Singapore correct? And what do you think of Qns 6(b) of the essay on the impact of the fall in i/r on Singapore economy? Did you intepret it as Singapore's i/r also fell along with those developed countries or remained constant, thus got capital inflow and currency appreciates?
PS: Only appreciate feedback from real 2005 A-level candidates, not jokers. -

maths paper 1 i think i can get highest 60 marks
maths paper 2 : its a fluke last 3 qns cant do at all
doesnt seem to follow previous years pattern where some qns no need to think and can just apply mechanically
think highest for paper 2 will be bout 50

I am from RJC. I am a top student.
I will get A for my BIO, CHEM, PHY and MATHS
As well as my S-PAPER CHEM, S-PAPER BIO, S-PAPER MATH.
I will also get A1 for my GP.
I believe this year, we will WIN HCI ONCE AGAIN.

Of course, I would have liked to take FURTHUR MATHS but my school says I dont need 5As, and that 4As enough to get my PSC. Boohoohoo. -
As to your performance, HCI students ALWAYS OVERESTIMATE their performance. Which accounts for why all top students come from RJC. Cannot be helped. All the bottom feeders go to HCI, mah. RJC and our good fren NJC will as usual be the elitist-est of all!

For maths paper i think i have no problem getting an A because i was able to derive answers for every questions
But for chem i think its relatively harder compared to last yr. i am confident of getting a C or B for chem
To conclude,i think this year papers were much more different and unique compared to past year ones -

Sample mean is not accurate? You get nothing out of sample mean you stupid fucx, accuracy is determine by standard deviation
5 percent significance level is also very inaccurate. Because your n is too large.
And how to reject H0 when you have not even state your null hypothesis?
