usually happens ard night time. I re-login and awhile later u can see alert windows filling up the whole of yr screen on the right. Haiz, well, Microsoft product, wat ya expect? Its just the server being unstable or sumthing i guess
Disconnect often
If yr using wireless internet it can happen. Mine does but it'll auto re-connect after a while. If yr using wired connection, check to see if its loose or sumthing. Yes, it can oso be msn itself... Dun bother trying to re-install (Unless its serious, lyk all yr frens suddenly scold u vulgar words at one go or sumthing). One thing, u just cant gif yr 100% trust to microsoft products. No one does too -

that may haf to do wif yr wireless network adaptor. u can try updating its drivers or place yr router closer to yr pc? best if u can just connect it through LAN cable

i think its more of due to your internet connection, except during the times when msn goes down.
i use scv 6500, lose my connection every now and then. -
I've had the same thing as well ever since I downloaded 7.5....
There's still a lot of bugs to be ironed out....

lolz i wonder whether they gonna solve all the probs found in 7.5 when they release 8.0. MSN Messenger 8.0 will haf totally new appearance and interface. bet theres going to be more bugs...

Usually those always d/c are bcos of wireless. Before i changed to wireless, my msn never d/c only after using wireless i started to have this prob.
