Do Animals Go To Heaven/ Hell At All?

Hi,
Do animals go to heaven/ hell after they die?
Perhaps if you know more about religions, I would like to know what different religions say about animals and afterlife. Or from other philosophies. Or your own theory.
And, if you have an emotional bond with an animal, say, a pet, does that make the pet more likely to follow you to the afterlife? -

Hence someone's statement that Religions, applies only to humans and that animals have no Gods.
I must go away for a while to ponder this - up in the mountains, with all my Minolta cameras to find answer to this great question. -

Ahhh... but for those who believe in re-incarnation, there is a reason why we come across people who behave like pigs, dogs, or cows. While some are plain chickens, and the cow-like ones always BS.
SO that's probably where all the souls of chickens, pigs, dogs, cows and the rest go to - some are fortunate enough to be recycled as humans but with more or less the same previous animalistic habits.

I propose that all humans and animal be treated eqaully in this aspect and should be culled the same.

He is capable of sensing happiness, sadness, joy, and fear.
Love, attachment.
Capable of being hungry, angry, cold, or tired.
He has intelligence.
Memory.
Distinct personality.
When he looks into my eyes, I know that he is there.
His soul.
He is not like a book. When you look at a book, you don't see it. A computer, a car, a chair, you don't see it. He has a distinct and unique soul. Just like how you can see your friend's distinct and unique soul when you look into his/ her eyes.
And so my question is, what happens to animals' souls? -

Sometimes I wonder when a person brings his dog for a walk, is that person walking the dog or is the dog leading the person.
Just because humans are more intelligent, they would assume that they are the dominator of this world, they rule over all other animals. So what if beings more intelligent then humans appears? Do humans get chained by the neck and brought to a walk occasionally by them? -
No, animals do not go to heaven or hell. Neither do humans. Heaven and hell are just superstitions. If you die, you die and you will go to nowhere.
