  bought a Samsung SyncMaster 713N 17" today.
  
  but find that it's very bright even at brightness 40, contrast 10. anyone can help? what's the prefect setting, or is there anything i must do to get the prefect brightness and color.

  just find that it's very straining for my eyes especially sgforum is of white background. maybe i'm not used to it yet.

  one more thing, why is it that when i view text, the text will not be as crisp as on a CRT?
