Which Digital camera should I pick?

anyway of course what do u expect with a slim camera?
Best battery life is in the professional cameras..
The T series of the DSC tree is meant for slim cameras while for batt life it's in other series....
good points are the large LCD screen,double batt life when u view photos u taken and the slimminess..
my opinion is that it's just below Professional camera and above newbie camera..good for those that wanna try to be a pro.... -

Laugh at Film SLR cameras?
Getting the right exposure by manipulating shutter speeds, aperture number, and judging ambient lighting on a film camera takes years of experience. And many holes in my pockets...
Digital is easy; just point, look at how the image is rendered in realtime, adjust if too dark or bright, then shoot. In a film SLR, you need to know right off your finger tips, by looking the scene what values to dial up on your film camera!
This method, exercises one's brain and eye in photography. Taking shots which you know you can "painlessly" reshoot again, takes the challenge out of it all.
However, it is convenient if you are in a hurry and your work requires quick pics and not quality pics. No matter how high end a digital cam, you will see pixels when enlarged.
But not on slides and negs.. -

If you master M(Manual) Mode.
Nobody dares to laugh at you leh.
It takes alot to take photos with M mode and people should respect you. -
