I want to know too - but I might be TERRIFIED by the figures!
Government should put in place a sort of quota or ceiling for the number of PRCs coming here to "work". In the heartlands of Singapore (HDB estates), I can now even see, young female students from China (studying in NTU) standing around at night near bus stops smiling sexily as I pass by.
Do you GOV know about all this?????? -
i guessing 5% of all chinese in sg are from china(modern)

I heard that lots of Singaporean women too difficult to handle. So, singaporean men marry the China or Vietnamese, easier than wooing a S'pore ones. But 'hao kan bu hao chi', after a while of marriage, arguments begin to arise. Do you know... china women are infamous in arguing or so call quarrelsome... juz like my 2 brothers who marry them... how they wish they never had...i guess

I agree that China women are more willing to have kids. I guess it could be due to our past are the 'Koolies' from china (remember Nanyang), thats y they dont mind the china coming. Here comes the Nanyang era again....

It's also the buayas in Singapore to blame for all these PRC gals and their extended families coming here. (the kind of people who peel open crab shells in supermarkets when choosing fresh crabs!)
For the records, my wide if Malaysian. I agree about Singapore girls being difficult and demanding.( uh-ohh.... ) -
i prefer the malaysians.

i am sure people from china comes to singapore because we are a chinese majority country. -
Why foreigners come to S'pore??? b'cos their countries cannot give them the 'comfort' they want. So, they treat the S'porean men as king lah! When they look at their own country men, they look down on them (juz like S'porean women looking down on S'porean men). Isn't it the same....

dress better,
treat men nicer,
as s'pore is a competitive country, you know.................................................. -
