Hey all,
as show on the headline, will you consider them as your potential gf??, for those who are foreign to the term promoter. they are gal who is come to you to ask if you need to order any drink in the pub, then talk to you , play game with you, smoke with you, make friends with you, drink with you. etc.
I recently know this gal when i partonize this pub, know this promoter, not very chio but very friend and stuff.. then 1st day i know her.. we hold hands and have friendly kiss (maybe we are quite drunk then) and we exchange hp numbers. and i send her home that night after she knock off. she hurt her finger, so i propose to go the 7 - 11 for plaster and antispactic cream for her to apply... her plaster quite wore out liao, after re-apply the dressing for her.. flag a cab and send her back to her door step.. she slept on my lap throughout the journey.. then i go back home.. no monkey business
Even since.. when i go there if she is there.. she will stand very close to me.. and hold hand secretly (she inital it 1st) and she will tell me many thing about her.. etc say thing like she is touch when i reapply the dressing for her that day... but when she turn to my friend and talk.. she like become another person just like any other promoters.. like wearin a mask and take off instantly... :confused:
when talkin to me, she told me why she is in this line..her family, her work... her problems, and she also added a clauses that say u can don't believe me as she know she is working in such place.. ppl tend to stereo type people.
Then yesterday when i go there for drink with friend have fun... beside me sat lady friend of mine and talk to her for something.. this promoter sat there say nothing... then go away for a while after sitting there been ignored by me coz i talk to my friend.. .. after which she came back. she ask where is my gf that sat beside me.. told her.. i don't have a gf.. that was just a friend.. can see the instant change in expression before and after she ask and listen to the question. Then dunno how come later part of the day.. she so sad when she told me she got scolded by my mom coz she always go home with alcohol smell.. etc.. then i told her i also dunno how come say.. "can i protect you and let you have my shoulder when u need me?".. then she reply. will u be serious with me or just say for fun.. i kept quiet and kiss her....
But problem is later yesterday night when the shop close.. i saw her hug and been hug by a few customer too.. i was kinda confused again... is that her way to "keeping customer" ?? dunno whether she got kiss other customer or not. but come to think of it, since she is in this line..physical contact is inevitable. but am i just another customer to her too?? if not.. i will not like my gf to be touch by other guys.. so i dont know whether i should go for her as gf or just play play can liao... :confused:

Hmm.. i think you cannot just base on the above believe that all of the promoters are like that. It would be unfair.

The hug and been hug part could have been so because of public relations. It's certainly not a good idea to have bad PR in the service industry. Perhaps it's a patrons who initialise this.
Anyways, if you are already in a relationship with this lady, perhaps you can bring out your concerns. -
