Any users here facing problems from Starhub Maxonline?

Okay umm, it seems like every now and then I lose my internet connection for 1 - 5mins. I guess its not that big a deal, but its really irritating, and recently its been happening ALOT, especially today. I lost my connection to the internet over 10 times today...and I just did again just before coming here, and while typing this very dam message.
Yea...so any other SCV users experiencing similar problems of losing their internet connection for a short while...? Or is it just me? -

It is because your modem found out that its owner is a T-S and locked itself up. -

i also face this problem 2 week ago..but now okay liao,can continue online for 3 days*test by playing net-radio with no breakup .
i think they doing some tech job area by area. -
yesterday dc 2 times, sent my firewall into a frenzy
restart com and its ok

Yes experienced b4...for like 3-4 days...then it went back to normal..

the one in my room keep losing its connection.
but the one in the living room isnt.
funny... the one in my room is using wireless connection. while the one in the living room has the cable modem connected.
but when it loses connection, i just switch the usb port of the wireless modem and ok liao... -
Maybe u can call Starhub tech support about it.

Normally if you are using bad USB drivers, after coming out of Hibernation/Standby or after a period, the USB will stop functioning, and you will lose your USB modem connection.

stop using p2p programs. dont use p2p. off ur bt or lm or kazza or ares.
i had the same experience before, called up 1633 and they told me wad i did. the prob was solved lucky it was before rias got mad. -

i have it happened to me too, call your service provider, reset everything to default, try to reinstall windows, play around with the static ip address and users on the router. one of the above will solve your problem. If you are using wireless connection, it will definitely happen unless you upgrade to XP SP2.
