heard of jehovah's witness?

  they dun have to serve NS (sentenced to DB straight away), cannot donate blood, avoid celebrating birthdays n holidays, dun salute flags n sing national anthem.. quite a special group of ppl i must say.. anything interesting more abt them??

  they often wear white top, blue pants and big name tags and carry bibles in their hands to try convert people.

  i had a friend.. who was a JW.. went to DB instead of NS.. i remember writing to him.. and how all his letters were screened.. and he could only write once a week...
  
  we lost contact when i went overseas. i wonder how he is now.

  i kind of admire them for their guts.
  
  Being aligned to JW is a benefit in a way , yet a disadvantage in another way.
  
  We are all just pawns in a political game by human beings. Humans control humans. If let's say , the govt is unhappy and orders you to carry out orders..
  baam , one shot and your life ended like this.
  
  We do have to keep in mind that the people around us, or should i say the countries around us aren't JW people so that increases our security threat without a doubt.
  
  On the contrary , the whole world , in order to become a peaceful place , needs more JW people rather then NSF.

  Allow me to correct your misconception.
  
  Seventh day adventist also serve NS. EXCEPT, they dont carry real guns. They carry wooden or cemented guns when it comes to their training. Most of them become medics I heard.

  They will be send to DB immediately for 1.5 years if they dont take the oath.. After the sentence is served, they will be asked whether they want to serve, if not another 2 years.. this is what i heard
  
  FYI jehovah's witness was labelled as a cult by the government during the 1970s.. cause our government fear people will convert just to escape NS..
